New Year new Season
So the 2019 Season was a very up and down season for FTF Racing, always felt like we never got any momentum going.
It wasn’t the worst year by any stretch but we would of liked to of posted a couple more winners.
We dipped our toe back into the National Hunt side of the game again with Timeforaspin who ran out a comfortable 19 length winner for us on his second start. Unfortunately I don’t think he will be seeing the race track for a long while if ever again. I think that summed up our luck for the year.
But we’re into a new year with a new flat season on the horizon.
We are concentrating again on more of the younger stock on the flat. We have recently purchased a cracking son of Elzaam in training with David O’meara. We have been up to see David and watch the colt on the gallops.
David’s Yard + facilities are up there with the best and it’s still a work in progress. It’s great to have a trainer like David on board with FTF. As you can see from the video the colt certainly looks like he has the right attitude.
We also headed to the yearling sales this year and purchased a colt and filly by first season sire ADAAY. It wasn’t the plan to buy two of the same first season sire but both ticked the boxes. Both of these are in training with Robyn Brisland over in Newark. Both look early types physically and on paper, were really taken by both there attitudes and think there sire has had a big influence on them in that department. WE STILL HAVE SHARES AVAILABLE IN THE FILLY PLEASE CONTACT US TO GET INVOLVED.
We are also it talks for possibly another couple of horses to join our syndicate in the next few weeks so please keep an eye on our twitter and facebook pages.
Were ready to get this turf season underway. The 2yr olds are starting to pick there work up in the next month or two it’s a really exciting time for us all.
Thanks to all our owners for there support and we hope to see you all racing in the new year.
